Easter Special Recipe: Nested Robin Eggs!

Nested Robin Eggs

Ingredients (for nests):

2 cups sugar
1/4 cup cocoa
1 stick butter
1/2 cup milk
1 cup peanut butter
1 tablespoon vanilla
3 cups oatmeal
1-2 cups fun cereal of your choice (optional)
1-2 cups coconut (optional)
Any other fun stuff you want to stick in there

Waxed paper

Directions

Mix sugar, cocoa, butter, and milk. Bring to a boil on the stove, then continue to boil for 1 minute. Remove from stove and mix in remaining ingredients. Plop golf-ball size glops onto wax paper, squish into a nest shape, and let cool while you make the eggs.

Ingredients (for eggs)

1 cup powdered sugar

3/4 cup peanut butter

A few drops of food coloring

Directions

Mix all three ingredients. Cream/kneed as necessary. Form into marble-sized eggs and put into nests.

Makes about 4-5 dozen

Super yummy.
